Dr. Dan McDyer, MD, also one of the first physicians to fully grasp the big picture of Carie Health, is being promoted to Clinical Innovation Officer. Dan will bring decades of private practice experience into Carie. Dan has been instrumental throughout our product development to ensure that Carie integrates seamlessly within practices and helps providers enhance the way they practice medicine while earning the freedom they deserve. Dr. McDyer is widely recognized as an outstanding leader and will help us positively shape the healthcare industry which is ripe for change.
Dr. Daniel McDyer grew up in Orlando, Florida. He attended Rollins College for his undergraduate education where he graduated Cum Laude with a major in Chemistry. Thereafter, he attended the University of South Florida College of Medicine and then did his four-year residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at UF Health, Jacksonville where he served as the Administrative Chief Resident in his fourth year. He moved to Mount Dora, FL for the first four years of his practice and then returned to Jacksonville, FL where he has practiced since 1998.
He is Board certified by the American Board of OB/GYN and is Chairman of Section 2, District 12 of The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, as well as certified by the Florida Medical Association and the Duval County Medical Society. He is also a member of the Board of Managers of Florida Woman Care and is the Treasurer for Florida Woman Care. His professional interests include obstetrics, minimally invasive surgery, treatment of urinary incontinence, infertility, menstrual problems birth control and patient education.
