Is my information and consultation secure?

The Carie™ platform is HIPAA compliant which means all patient information, medical records and consultations are private and secure.

How is Carie™ different from other Telehealth platforms?

We keep the entire process simple and easy to start using within minutes for a provider and a patient. Our goal was to create a telemedicine platform that fits seamlessly in your environment without changing your existing workflows. Carie took something that can be very complex and made it simple to use.

How does a video visit work? Do I have to download an app?

A provider will send an invite request for a patient to join a scheduled consultation or can go to the virtual waiting room to have a visit immediately. There is no software to download or install, simply click and begin interacting with your provider.

What browsers are recommended for virtual consults on Carie?

For a smooth user-experience, we recommend using Google Chrome, Firefox and Safari (Safari for mobile only).

What electronic devices are compatible for virtual consults on Carie?

Any computer, tablet or mobile device with internet connection can connect to the Carie platform.

How do I change my account information?

You can change your account information and password at any time by visiting your member dashboard, hovering over your name in the top right and clicking ‘My Account’ in the drop-down list.

Is training provided on how to use the Carie platform?

The Carie platform has been designed to provide an intuitive and smooth user experience. If you find yourself stuck on any step, you can refer to our provider tutorial video found in the Provider Portal or email support at support@carie.com.

Does Carie store medical records for each patient?

Physicians on the Carie™ telehealth platform may store medical notes for each patient after every virtual consultation. This way, every physician that you consult with will be up to date on your medical history. Concerns with patient data privacy in the health care industry are growing, and we understand.  Patient privacy is our #1 concern.

How do I set my schedule for when I am free to take virtual consultations?

Simply toggle the online/offline switch on the provider dashboard to make yourself available/unavailable for consultations.

How does a doctor become a Carie Provider?

Simple! Create your account by clicking here. It takes less than 5 minutes to create an account and then you can start conducting consultations immediately.

How do I get my patients to use Carie telehealth?

Simply invite the patient in the Carie Provider Portal by just adding the patient’s e-mail address. The email will notify the patient to activate their Carie™ account to connect with you virtually for future visits. We also recommend that your staff offer Carie™ as a convenient solution when receiving calls for appointment scheduling.
